How to Join motherboard

There is no single way to be part of Motherboard. African mothers join us at different stages of their work and motherhood journeys, so we offer two ways to access Motherboard. Both options connect you to the community. One includes additional tools for work and career support.

  • Join our member-led community, hosted on WhatsApp, where African mothers across the continent and diaspora connect, share experiences, and support one another.

    What’s included:

    • Access to the Motherboard WhatsApp community

    • Country chapter groups for local connection and opportunities

    • Peer support, shared learning, and community-led conversations

    • Access to community-hosted webinars and learning sessions

    This option is always free.

  • This option is designed for African mothers who want community and practical tools to support their work and career journey.

    From April 2026, access to the Motherboard Dashboard will be available through an annual fee of USD $20. The Motherboard community will remain free and open to all African mothers.
